The Russian economy successfully completed the year 2021, having increased by 4.7% according to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, surpassing the growth estimate of 4.5%. Therefore, even if quarterly economic growth slows down to zero throughout 2022, we expect annual GDP growth to be 1.4% above 2021 levels.
