While Western countries are restricting trade and economic relations with Russia, China, India and many other Asian countries are striving to strengthen them. Thus, the trade turnover in July with China, according to the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, amounted to almost $17 billion, of which exports - more than 6 billion, and imports - more than 10 billion.
At the end of 2021, the turnover of bilateral trade, according to TASS, grew to almost $147 billion, and by the end of 2022 it is expected to reach $200 billion. Imports of mineral fuels, oil and asphalt to China, according to the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, reached 247 billion yuan (more than 36 billion dollars), and exports of engineering and electrical products from China reached 77 billion yuan (11.3 billion dollars).
 
The very “Turn to the East” is working, and the economic policy of Western countries only contributes to its development.
 
“We do not use SWIFT, we use the Chinese equivalent. We do not convert dollars and euros, but use the national currency, so the US and EU countries cannot track the level of increasing trade,” Vitaly Mankevich said.
