An evening of modern vocal music will take place as part of the project "Music of Our Time"

On April 15, in the Small Hall of Zaryadye under the support of the Committee of Creative Industries of the RAUIE, an evening of modern vocal music will take place as part of the project "Music of Our Time." The evening is held in collaboration with the festival of contemporary opera "Muted Voices."

The "RAUIE Academy" and the project "Kitarama" are strategic partners of the cultural-educational project "Music of Our Time" under the direction of Karina Pogosbekova, aimed at popularizing the works of modern composers for the past 5 years.

At the tenth, anniversary concert at Zaryadye, the audience will be presented with a series of world premieres.

Expectations include the premieres of two chamber operas: 1) "Tatiana's Dream" based on the famous episode from the novel "Eugene Onegin" by composer Tatiana Chudova; 2) the fantastic mono-mini-opera "Professor Dowell's Head."

Also in the program: the premiere of a vocal cycle of 6 songs by British composer John Tavener with poetry by Anna Akhmatova, the world premiere of composer Yuri Butsko's work "Two Tales" with poetry by I. Bunin, and 5 songs from the vocal cycle "Russian Notebook" by composer Valery Gavrilin.

The artistic director and producer of the project is Karina Pogosbekova.

Beginning at 19.00 (two parts of 45 minutes each).
