On September 24, 2022, RAUIE organized the RAUIE Cup event - a badminton competition between Chinese and Russian players - representatives of the largest Russian and Chinese corporations and authorities.
The event consisted of two parts: competitions and a private dinner for honored guests.
The RAUIE Cup is not only a sporting event, but also an opportunity for Russian participants to get acquainted with the leaders of the largest Chinese companies in an informal setting.
The guest players from the Chinese side were the CEOs of the largest Chinese companies such as Lifan, Hainan Airlines, Passion, CRCC, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Construction Bank, Sany, Norinco, China Baowu Steel Group, etc.
The participants of the event were expected by the opening ceremony with the participation of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation represented by Ms. Gong Jiajia, Counsellor-Envoy for Culture of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Moscow, Ms. Yu Guo - Second Secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation and - Hou Menxin, Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation.
Gong Jiajia: “In recent years, the areas of cooperation between China and Russia continue to expand. In addition to trade and economic cooperation, sports ties are also growing stronger: the parties hold joint sports competitions, athletes conduct joint training, and there is an exchange of experience in organizing international sports events. We are very pleased that RAUIE holds such tournaments that help entrepreneurs of the two countries to conduct more active cooperation.”
The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation always supports the initiatives of RAUIE, the Union and the Embassy have jointly implemented many projects. In this regard, at the opening ceremony, RAUIE Chairman Vitaly Vikentievich Mankevich presented gratitude to the representatives of the Embassy "For their contribution to the development of Russian-Chinese relations."
After the matches, the guests were invited to a private dinner at the Chinese restaurant Chuanyu.
At the beginning of the dinner, the guests were greeted by honorary guests of the event - members of RAUIE: Alexander Efimovich Ginzburg, General Director of NIKA MOTORS HOLDING; Bykov Alexander Alekseevich, managing partner of Bellerage; Moor Denis Alexandrovich, Vice-President of the insurance joint-stock company "VSK".
“In order to become partners, you must first become friends.” This is one of the well-known principles of Asian business culture. Only by expanding communication between the people of our countries will Sino-Russian relations remain stable and prosperous. And sport is just a fertile field for enhancing communication between the peoples of the two countries.
