On October 15, an "Online Conference on Trade Cooperation between Russia and Vietnam" was held, organized by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation. The event was attended by the RAUIE members, as well as representatives of large Vietnamese companies. During the online conference, experts discussed the prospects for business cooperation and key obstacles to the trade development between the countries.
“This year has become really difficult for many entrepreneurs, both Russian and Vietnamese - the pandemic has left its mark. However, Vietnam's exports to Russia increased by almost 30% in the third quarter of 2020 compared to last year. We are confident that right now is the time to establish new cross-border ties, ”said Duong Hoang Minh, Trade Counselor of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation.
The President of the RAUIE, Vitaly Mankevich, also spoke at the conference: "The Russian and Vietnamese authorities and business are actively working to increase trade volume." Mankevich stressed that the RAUIE actively cooperates with Vietnamese partners and helps them in conducting international business. “We pay special attention to protecting the business interests, therefore, there is a migration consulting center at the RAUIE. We also regularly organize joint events and invite our members to participate and cooperate with Vietnamese colleagues. We also help Russian companies to enter the Vietnamese market. "
Russian companies received direct contacts between Vietnamese distributors and representatives of large Vietnamese companies. They also managed to ask questions on key issues of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation directly to the Ambassador of Vietnam, Mr. Duong Hoang Minh. So in the near future we expect the signing of several contracts between representatives of Russian and Vietnamese companies.
