China (Chongqing) - Russia - automotive industry: economic and trade exchanges

The Executive Director of the RAUIE and members of the Union took part in the conference "China (Chongqing) - Russia - automotive industry: economic and trade exchanges".

The event was organized by the Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission.

The Chinese side, led by Tan Weidun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commerce Commission, was represented by representatives of 10 companies involved in the production of cars and accessories.

As part of the event, the RAUIE presented an analysis of trends in the Russian automotive market:

• how the market size has changed;
• why the light commercial vehicle market is growing slower compared to medium and heavy vehicles;
• what is the recycling fee;
• how car localization takes place;
• what are the main difficulties in car certification;
• the specifics of car imports, and much more.

Participation in such events helps the RAUIE members establish closer and stronger relationships with Chinese partners for the implementation of joint projects and the development of cooperation.
