China has ramped up its initiatives to safeguard the rights of businesses and entrepreneurs by enhancing oversight of law enforcement activities aimed at profits, which is crucial for both domestic policy and international cooperation.
During the sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), discussions focused on the need to implement stricter control mechanisms for law enforcement actions, which should promote increased transparency and accountability in their operations. This topic has become especially relevant in the context of international efforts to combat corruption and human rights violations.

In Russia, similar initiatives are reflected in the work of the Public Council of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Business Against Corruption," which collaborates actively with the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE) under an agreement signed in September 2024. Through joint efforts, the RAUIE and the Commission for Business Protection and Anti-Corruption are engaged in extensive work to protect Asian entrepreneurs in Russia. This provides partners and members of the RAUIE with an effective mechanism to safeguard their rights in dealings with government authorities, law enforcement agencies, and supervisory structures.
The Center's activities focus on analyzing contentious economic relationships, with findings submitted to an interagency working group at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. Partners and members of RASPP facing unlawful criminal prosecution or business pressure can reach out via https://clck.ru/3DKpbM. Experts from the Center for Public Procedures "Business Against Corruption" will prepare a legal opinion, and if violations of entrepreneurs' rights are identified, measures will be taken to restore those rights through appeals to supervisory authorities.
It is essential for both countries to continue developing this practice since such measures can significantly improve the business climate and strengthen public trust in law enforcement agencies. The shared commitment to enhancing transparency and accountability is a step towards more civilized and effective mechanisms for upholding law and order in both China and Russia.
