On November 6, the RAUIE together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and REC (Russian export center) held a round table “Export development in new conditions: measures of state support, successful cases, barriers and growth points” within the framework of the international online conference Russia and China: cooperation in a new era.
How are trade and economic relations between Russia and China developing today? What areas of cooperation between the two countries are the most interesting in the future 5 and 10 years? What support do the governments of Russia and China provide to exporters today? The answers to these and other questions were given by market experts, government officials and business representatives during the online event. Among the experts were: Alexey Gruzdev - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Wang Bingnan - Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China; Cao Dezhong - President of the China Chamber of Exports and Imports of Food and Livestock Products; Veronika Nikishina - General Director of JSC Russian Export Center.
Vitaly Mankevich, President of the RAUIE took part in the event: “The Asian market is showing increasing interest in imported products. Now it is the main growth point of the world economy and world consumption. Working in the Asian market has its own specifics ”. Among the main mistakes Vitaly Mankevich noted the following: not to register a trademark, carelessness to certification; not participating in exhibitions; not to take into account the peculiarities of the local business culture and inattention to marketing. “I recommend that large exporters turn to contract manufacturing and M&A deals in China - this is an opportunity that allows you to reduce costs and win the loyalty of wide consumer segments, to become a truly 'people's' product.”
At the event, Russian companies received practical advice on working with China. The RAUIE is always ready to provide all-round assistance to our entrepreneurs.
