On February 25, 2022, the RAUIE together with the Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development held a round table "Current Issues of Agricultural Exports to China". The event was held in a hybrid format at the site of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The experts of the event were: Vice-President of the RAUIE Maxim Kuznetsov, Vice-President of the RAUIE Anna Fomicheva, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk Region Marina Kozharina, Head of the RAUIE Representative Office in Shanghai Maya Man, Vladimir Kravchenko, head of the animal husbandry sector of the Center for Agroanalytics of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, Alena Shevtsova, head of the RAUIE regional branch in Krasnoyarsk , and Roman Vilner, head of business development projects in China, RZD Logistics JSC.
Within the framework of the round table, experts discussed the possibilities of developing Russian products export to China under sanctions imposed by Western countries.
“Currently, China does not support Western sanctions against Russia. This opens up additional opportunities for the export of Russian agro-industrial products to China. RAUIE has developed a program for an easy start of exports to China, offering free placement of samples in the RAUIE pavilions. In addition, China produces equipment that is in high demand in Russian agriculture, including extruders, dryers, seeders, etc.” - said Maxim Kuznetsov.
The event was of practical use for entrepreneurs from all over Russia and brought together more than 150 participants online and 30 on the site.
