Hong Kong 2023. Round table in the Public Chamber

On May 24, Vitaly Mankevich, Chairman of the RAUIE, spoke at the round table "Hong Kong 2023: the most prospective areas for business", which the Union held together with the Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights, and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development



Mankevich spoke about the structure of trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and Hong Kong, the dynamics of the ratio of the shares of different segments in the total volume of imports and exports, identified common trends and problems, suggested ways to overcome them, made a forecast for the development of cooperation, and also outlined the advantages that can be used, and marked the top areas for investment.



The speakers discussed how Hong Kong can be useful for Russian business in the current environment, how it differs from mainland China in business, and what has changed after the pandemic and recent political events.
