On November 22, in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the RAUIE together with the Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development in a hybrid format held a round table "Export to China: how to start sales with minimal risk." The event was moderated by Yulia Kapranova, executive director of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development.
The event was opened by Maxim Kuznetsov, vice-president of the RAUIE: “In 2021 we see a slight decrease in agricultural exports to China due to restrictions on fish exports, however, we see steady growth in other items. In 2021, the RAUIE opened a network of pavilions in China, and we have already concluded a number of transactions for the export of agricultural products, confectionery, and alcoholic beverages. For the exporter, the risks are minimal: all you need to do is pay for the samples' delivery to the pavilion, we will do the rest of the work ourselves"
Anna Fomicheva, vice-president of the RAUIE, focused on the digitalization of foreign economic activity, as well as on the need for pre-export preparation, including market research, product adaptation and counterparty verification.
