The event was opened by Maxim Kuznetsov. He spoke about the difficulties when working with China during a pandemic. Due to the fact that it is almost impossible to get into the PRC, a number of problems arise: checking the shipment, checking the counterparty, visiting exhibitions and other events in China, etc. Nevertheless, now imports are actively growing in China, according to the results of eight months of this year, the growth rates exceed 20-30%. In particular, China is actively cooperating with Russia, mainly in the agricultural and food segment.

“The RAUIE is actively working in all Asian directions and knows all the pitfalls that entrepreneurs will have to face when entering the Chinese market. Our Union offers a number of programs developed to support business both in China and in Russia. Among others, there is a program for export to China based on the RAUIE pavilion network, a program for finding equipment, access to Russian retail chains and others. We are open for cooperation and are always glad to help entrepreneurs."

Maxim Spassky devoted his speech to the challenges posed by the “covid era” for entrepreneurs. There was a trend change from the buyer's market to the seller's market, and, unfortunately, not all businesses were able to cope with this. All this led to a decrease in production volumes and a shortage of goods. Nevertheless, for those who were able to adapt to the new conditions, new opportunities are now opening up for business development.

Yulia Nurullina spoke about the Russian-Chinese Information Hub service, which was created to accumulate incoming applications from China. She stressed that the project provides a real opportunity for Russian entrepreneurs to become a supplier to large Chinese companies.
