Migration legislation: checklist for foreigners

Yesterday, along with the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE) held an online event called "Key innovations in Russian Migration Legislation: a checklist for Chinese Partners."

Timur Beslangurov, General Director of VISTA Immigration and Chairman of the Committee on Migration Policy and Labor Legislation of the RAUIE, told the audience about innovations in the legislation on migration policy, explained questionable places and suggested ways to solve pressing problems.

The participants discussed the difference in formulations and interpretations, talked in detail about various options for obtaining residence permits for investments, mentioned preferences for students, necessary medical tests, promising but not yet developed in our country options and many other topical issues, and outlined a plan of interaction between the Committee on Migration Policy and Labor Legislation of the RAUIE and The Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation:

1. The possibility of creating a single window mode for the member companies of the RAUIE.
2. The possibility of creating a working group to discuss innovations in migration legislation, and the probability of participation the RAUIE members in it.
3. Holding an annual migration conference for the member companies of the RAUIE.
