RAUIE and Foton Motor step up work on the Russian market

On November 30, a meeting was held at the RAUIE office between representatives of the RAUIE and Foton Motor. During the meeting, both parties noted that today there are unique opportunities for Foton Motor Company to expand its business in Russia. The RAUIE provided the Foton Motor delegation with a full consultation on the real current situation in the automotive market in Russia, including the its scale, state regulation, key domestic and foreign enterprises.



The meeting participants chose several of the most prospective areas for business development in Russia for Foton: the creation of joint ventures for SKD cars assembly in Russia, the supply of spare parts for trucks to Russia, the supply of special equipment, warehouse equipment, and construction equipment. Also prospective Russian regions for the automotive business were identified: the Moscow region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Nizhny Novgorod region. Several Russian automotive companies were also identified - potential partners for Foton Motor. During the meeting, the main problem of foreign business when doing business in Russia was noted: incorrect paperwork and lack of communication with government agencies. For its part, the RAUIE can solve these problems for Foton Motor in Russia.



The parties agreed that the Foton Motor delegation under the RAUIE support will develop proposals for the development of their business in Russia. With the RAUIE assistance, further negotiations will be held with the executves of Russian automobile companies, central and regional authorities in Russia.
