RAUIE and Mazars held a business breakfast

On June 9, RAUIE, together with the international audit and consulting company Mazars (a member of the Union), held a business breakfast on the topic: "Sanctions 2022: how businesses work in Russia - financial and logistical aspects." The event, held in a hybrid format, was attended by over 80 participants.



The event was opened with a welcoming speech by Suzanna Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the RAUIE: “Today's realities significantly increase the risks of the Russian economy stability. Nevertheless, Russian entrepreneurs need to continue to work and develop, despite all the difficulties and changes. Our Union has been carrying out systematic work in this direction for more than 12 years.

Mazars speakers, Alexey Shvyndenkov, Partner for Tax and Legal Services, Elvira Danilova, Senior Legal Manager and Anton Levdonsky, Tax Manager, spoke about the current currency and tax legislation and the main anti-crisis measures to support business. Colleagues commented on the current rules for the sale of export foreign exchange earnings and touched upon the restrictions associated with foreign currency and the procedure for making transactions with non-residents.



At this stage, Russia is actively cooperating in the field of business projects and intergovernmental initiatives with key countries.
