RAUIE and the Moscow Innovation Agency held a large-scale IT forum

The «Go BRICS» business conference took place in Moscow at the «Start Hub» at «Krasny Oktyabr» on 31 May in offline and online formats.

Experts, investors and company founders discussed the prospects of Moscow-based start-ups and technology products entering the markets of the BRICS members or planning to join BRICS- China, India, South America, the Middle East and Africa.

The event attracted more than 250 participants.

The participants of the event learned about the experience of innovative Russian companies, which are successfully implementing projects related to software, hardware, IT products and developments in the BRICS countries.

RAUIE was a partner of the event and co-organizer of the section "Export of Innovative Technologies to Asian Countries" moderated by Suzanne Mkrtchyan, Vice-President of the Union: "How to Expand the Market? This is the question on which the prospects of the technology industry and innovative companies in Russia largely depend today. The Moscow City Innovation Agency together with RAUIE have gathered leading market experts and startup founders at today's Go BRICS event to provide comprehensive answers - how to become in demand in Asia market, how to adapt projects for foreign b2b and b2c clients and make them a part of foreign startup ecosystems".

Ludmila Fedorova, CEO and founder of the Skylex Group consulting company, whose managing partner on the Russian side is Alena Shvetsova, head of the RAUIE office in the Krasnoyarsk region, spoke at the event. Ludmila shared with the participants what the situation is with intellectual property protection in China and what needs to be done to protect oneself.

Mikhail Goryanoy, CEO of the Chinese trade and manufacturing company JinCheng International and chairman of the Council of Russian Entrepreneurs of Northern China, based on his experience, shared with the participants what to do and what not to do in order to enter the Chinese market.

Zhao Zhongyuan, Director of the China Technology Transfer Centre of SCO Member States: "Nowadays, there is an increasing interest from Russian entrepreneurs in introducing their projects and enterprises into the Chinese market. However, as practice shows, setting up a start-up, owning and operating your own business is not as easy as it seems. It is quite a complicated and responsible process, requiring a lot of effort and professional knowledge".

Rumia Rakhimova, Director of Business Development «CITIC Telecom SPS» in Russia, shared with the participants her experience and knowledge of the opportunities and limitations of opening the ICT market in China.

Alok Kumar, Chairman of Akis Tech Ltd, Honorary Director of BRICS Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Member of the Business Council for Cooperation with India, Vice President of International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Vice President of RUSSOFT Association, also spoke at the event. He described the nuances and features that Russian businesses should definitely consider while dealing with India.

At the end of the presentations, more than 15 participants asked their questions to the speakers and received practically useful answers in real time.
