On October 13, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Krasnoyarsk between the Corporation for the Development of the Yenisei Siberia, represented by Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director, and the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, represented by the chairman of the RAUIE branch for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia, the Republic of Tyva, Alena Shvetsova. The signing was attended by members of the Union, leaders of the development of the international direction of the Corporation.
Alena Shvetsova: “Since March, we have been actively working to develop bilateral ties between the business community of the Asia-Pacific countries and the Russian Federation, joint activities are of great importance for obtaining good results, and the signing of the Memorandum once again speaks of the seriousness of intentions, which will allow us to have more leverage to develop the investment potential of the regions of the Yenisei Siberia; cooperation is carried out in the areas of timber and agro-industrial complex, it is important to set up and maintain supply chains of necessary goods, equipment, special equipment, raw materials, etc. For the smooth operation of enterprises in the region, logistics issues remain important, both for imports and for exports. Promotion of the brand of Yenisei Siberia in China by including new licensees, SMEs and others, to introduce goods and services from Siberia to the Chinese market. Until the end of the year and for 2023, activities are planned that will allow the implementation of plans within the framework of the signed document.”
Recall that in June, President of the RAUIE Vitaly Mankevich took part in an event where the Yenisei Siberia region was presented to Asian partners (RAUIE became a co-organizer). During the presentation, a number of B2B and B2G meetings and negotiations took place with trade representatives of Kazakhstan and Mongolia in Russia, heads of business councils of foreign states, the largest Chinese business, etc.
