On December 21 and 22, the First Children's International Christmas Festival of Professional Art was held at the Bashmet Center. The festival featured musicians from Thailand and China, who specially flew to Russia.
The closing ceremony of the festival was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation Thanatip Upathing with his wife, representatives of THAI AIRWAYS and the leadership of the RAUIE.
The head of the special projects Department of the RAUIE
Syuzanna Mkrtchyan delivered a welcoming speech. She noted that the Philharmonic Society makes a huge contribution to the development of Russian-Asian relations, because the cultural foundation is an important component in establishing business ties.
“We are glad that we became partners with the Children's Philharmonic of the Future, you have very talented children and we are ready to help establish cultural and humanitarian cooperation with the countries of Asia.”
Young Russian musicians, laureates of well-known contests and festivals, television projects The Nutcracker and the Blue Bird also performed with great success. For their debut, young Thai musicians prepared a virtuoso program and performed the beautiful song "Love in spring" popular in Thailand as a musical gift.
For all the soloists of the International Children's Philharmonic of the Future, the RAUIE prepared memorable gifts. In December 2019, the International Children's Philharmonic of the Future project received the Golden Dragon Award in the Talent of the Year nomination from the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE).
