Now the RAUIE members are the governments of 15 regions in the Russian Federation, we are actively cooperating with federal executive bodies, and this helps us to promote the interests of business in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and in Asia. Our key task is the development of mutually beneficial trade, economic and investment cooperation. The city of Yiwu is a vivid symbol of the success of the policy of "reform and opening-up", and we hope that we can find new points for the development of joint projects between Russia and Yiwu. "
The results of the inter-regional Russian-Chinese cooperation were told by the deputy chairman of the Representative Office of the Vladimir Region
Alexey Palchikov. On the example of his region, he noted the positive dynamics in the development of Russian-Chinese joint projects: “Enterprises built with the participation of Chinese investors are successfully operating in the Vladimir region, and we hope to increase the number of such projects. In particular, the volume of Chinese investments in the creation and development of the metal processing enterprise Rustekhnologii reaches 10 billion rubles over the past 9 years. We see great potential in the implementation of joint projects. ”

In 2019, the turnover of Yiwu and the Russian Federation showed 20% growth and for the first time in history exceeded $ 650 million compared to $ 540 million in 2018. The main increase in turnover was attributable to clothing and footwear sales, as well as import of agricultural products into Yiwu. ”
