On October 29,
the plenary session and grand opening of the 3rd National China Exhibition of Industrial Equipment and Innovation "China Machinery Fair 2019" took place at the Expocentre. It was organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocenter JSC.
The co-organizer of the plenary session "Development of the infrastructure of the regions of the Russian Federation in cooperation with foreign partners" was the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. The operator of the exhibition was Messe Frankfurt Rus.
The plenary session was attended by the vice-president of the RAUIE
Maxim Kuznetsov. He noted that in Russia over the past 5 years, European equipment has been replaced by Chinese. This is due to the fact that Chinese equipment, firstly, is lower in cost, and secondly, the quality of Chinese equipment has long ceased to be inferior to European standards.
Maxim Kuznetsov also noted a number of problems that impede Chinese entrepreneurs in Russia. First of all, this is a low level of localization of machine-building equipment production in the regions of Russia, secondly, insufficient interaction of representatives of Chinese business with Russian associations, thirdly, business from China is not sufficiently aware of the “rules of the game” in Russia.
“We have developed a set of measures to solve these problems. First of all, this is the development of twinning relations between Chinese provinces and Russian regions, as well as the interaction of Chinese business representatives with Russian regions and the introduction of business education, ”noted Maxim Kuznetsov.

They noted the high growth rate of trade between Russia and China, the expansion of investment cooperation and emphasized the importance of the China Machinery Fair 2019 for the further development of mutually beneficial ties between our countries in the field of engineering, energy, pipeline technology, construction and light industry.
This year’s exposition, 150 leading Chinese manufacturers of electrical and energy equipment, light industry equipment, pumps and valves, pipe fittings, machine tools, construction and other equipment demonstrate their new developments. The exhibition also presents packaging, textile and printing equipment.
RAUIE members - representatives of the Asia-Pacific Bank, Art Logistic, Energostroy-2, and Technology Base, also took part in business forum, which was held during the exhibition.
