Results of the year of the Russian-Asian business cooperation 2024

On December 10, the annual reception of the all-Russian public organization "Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs" (RAUIE) "Results of the year of the Russian-Asian business cooperation 2024: on the way to a great Eurasian partnership" took place. The event was held in the heart of the capital - at the Metropol Hotel and brought together more than 300 guests.

The honorary guests of the reception were ambassadors and trade advisors from Asian countries: China, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, as well as deputies of the State Duma, members of the Federation Council, representatives of business circles of the Russian Federation and Asian countries.

The Chairman of the RAUIE, Vitaly Mankevich, summed up the work of the RAUIE in 2024, evaluated the trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Asian countries, and highlighted the prospective areas of work for 2025: “I am very pleased and proud that we not only observe, but actively participate in shaping a new era of cooperation between Russia and Asian countries. We have reached a special level of relationship, trust, and support for each other, and the economic power of our countries is a leading force on the global stage.”

During the official part of the event, welcoming speeches to the guests were spoken by: the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to the Russian Federation Sasivat Vongsinsawat, the Minister Plenipotentiary, Trade and Economic Advisor of the Embassy of China in the Russian Federation Liu Junya, the Trade Representative of Vietnam in the Russian Federation Zhang Huong Minh, the Deputy General Director of Hua Min Corporation of China Meng Xin, the Director of the China and Modern Asia Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kirill Babaev, the President of the Moscow Entrepreneurs Association Andrey Podenok, and others.

The signing ceremony of two agreements took place during the event:

• the RAUIE and Bellerage 
• the RAUIE and the Autonomous Non-profit Organization for the Development of Science, Culture, and Sports "Eurasian Path"

In addition, new members of the Union were awarded diplomas, including:

• Alfa-Bank 
• Ostrovok Komandirovki 
• Miratex Planet of English and Chinese

In the second half of the event, a solemn award ceremony of the 7th annual Golden Dragon 2024 award took place, presented in 7 categories. The award is given for a special contribution to the development of Russian-Asian business and humanitarian relations.

Traditionally, a lottery was held with prizes from the RAUIE partners: certificates for accommodation at Radisson Hotel Group, a certificate for a festive breakfast from the Metropol Hotel, certificates to Krasnopresnenskie Bani, Maotai Chinese vodka, gift baskets from the chocolate factory Volshenitsa, discount vouchers from Ostrovok Komandirovki, a weekend voucher in the 5-star department of the GK Astoria in Saint Petersburg, Russian vodka Legends of the Kremlin, certificates from Miratex Planet of English and Chinese.

In addition, throughout the event, talented artists delighted guests with dance and musical performances: a dance number from the Embassy of Vietnam (team of Vietnamese students VSAT); the song "Friendship of Peace" with lyrics by public figure Anastasia Pavlova performed by the choir KITARAMA of school 222 under the direction of Ekaterina Andreas, deputy head of the Creative Industries Committee of the RAUIE; a dance number from the Embassy of China; a musical performance from Chinese singer Liu Tingci; dance performances from the Russian-Indian Friendship Society "DISHA", the RAUIE anthem performed by Ekaterina Andreas.
