Russian and Chinese children celebrated the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the founding of the PRC

The event "hold hands — peace, communication, friendship" was held in Moscow school No. 1409 as part of the Chinese festival in Russia, with the support of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Chinese Embassy in Russia.



At the gala concert, 37 schoolchildren performed as part of a brass band of one of the schools in Xi'an (Shaanxi Province, China), the audience was especially struck by the performance of the Katyusha song by the orchestra. Also, the children performed songs in Chinese and Russian, a fragment of the ballet Swan Lake was staged. Schools in Moscow and Xian signed an agreement on student exchange. It is worth noting that the Education Center No. 1409 is involved in the development of the project "School of the Future". Much attention is paid to the reorganization of society in the school. The educational institution is focused on working with talented children. Much attention is paid to language training, in particular the study of Chinese.



Education is one of the key areas in cooperation between Russia and China. In recent years, Russian-Chinese educational exchanges have intensified, competitions for the best knowledge of the Russian language in China are becoming widespread, while in Russia the Unified State Exam allows you to choose the Chinese language for the exam in a foreign language.
