On October 5, the XVII National Industrial Congress was held in Moscow. This year the main theme of the Congress was - "New industrialization: strategies for the development of Russian industry in modern realities."
The program of the event includes: business breakfast, plenary session, sectoral and thematic sessions dedicated to the development prospects of priority industries, business dialogues.
As a guest of honor - a participant in a business breakfast and a speaker-expert on China, the chairman of RAUIE Vitaly Mankevich spoke with the topic "Russian-Chinese partnership 2022 - new vectors of development".
“Over the past 20 years, the Russian-Chinese trade turnover has grown more than 13 times from $8 billion to $107.76 billion, and this year it will exceed $120 billion, in which case the volume will grow 15 times, that is, the average growth is almost 14 %, this gives rise to a number of challenges: economic (what else to buy or sell) and financial (how to pay, how to do it cheaper and safer).
What to buy and what to sell? For example, the fourth industrial revolution is actively developing in China, and production is being automated. As a result, Chinese equipment is now one of the most modern, as well as the best in terms of price-quality-reliability. And the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs launched a program to search for equipment in China,” Mankevich said in his speech.
He also noted that participation in exhibitions is an important area for the development of cooperation between Russia and China: “Soon, on October 15, the 132nd session of the Canton Fair will open its doors in an online format that is already familiar and convenient for many. We invite everyone to join the platform, where you will have the opportunity to meet more than 35,000 direct suppliers from China.”
