On December 15, RAUIE, together with India's largest business association, the Confederation of Indian Industry and Business Russia, organized a Russian-Indian session dedicated to the strategic cooperation areas between India and Russia. The event was held online as part of the international forum Partnership Summit CII, which is a recognized authoritative platform that accumulates the best ideas and initiatives to develop cooperation between India and foreign countries. More than 600 people took part in the event.
The speakers of the event were Ambassador of Russia to India Nikolai Kudashev, Deputy Head of the Indian Diplomatic Mission in Russia Gina Wika, Deputy Director of the Trade Policy Department of the EEC Mikhail Cherekaev, Vice President of the Skoltech Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Lawrence Stein, Vice President, Head of the Executive Committee of Business Russia Nonna Kagramanyan and Business Ambassador to India Olga Kulikova.
RAUIE was represented by Vice-President Maxim Kuznetsov: “Russian business has a huge potential for trade with India, but it has not yet been fully exploited. We recommend that Russian companies expand imports of agricultural products and consumer goods from India, as well as invest in the IT sector and start-ups. Opening a company in India and investing in Indian startups is a good idea. We advise Indian companies to expand their presence in the Russian market, hire local employees and develop marketing, then you can be able to achieve a good sales result.”
