On August 10, RAUIE organized the event "Russia-China: Realities 2022" in an online format, the speakers of which were representatives of RAUIE, ChangeLab and Terminal Plus companies.
The webinar participants received insights on how to start a business with Chinese suppliers, parallel import of Western brands from China and reduce legal risks.
China is the most industrially developed among the countries friendly to Russia, so "Turn to the East" has become not just a competitive advantage for business, but a guarantee of survival in the global world turbulence.
“The procedure for registering a company in China contains many nuances, but as a result, the business receives an open window into international trade. The terms for registering a company and accounts are about 2 weeks, on average, and registration of a license takes about 1 month. By the way, it is recommended to appoint a Chinese citizen to the position of financial manager in order to effectively communicate with government agencies and speed up processes,” said Nikita Timokhin, CEO of ChangeLab.
Vice-President of the RAUIE Suzanna Mkrtchyan emphasized that at the moment Russia is facing key challenges for local businesses in terms of parallel imports from unfriendly countries, the search for new markets and the replacement of falling import volumes. However, projects are being actively implemented to attract Asian investments and implement investment projects in Asian countries, including China. “RAUIE provides assistance to Russian entrepreneurs, in the current situation, we are implementing free programs for finding equipment in China, placing Russian products in pavilions in China. We also recommend opening companies in China and Hong Kong.”
In turn, Nikita Kazarinov, General Director of Terminal Plus, spoke about possible ways of transit to Hong Kong, including through the Far East, and also noted that it is better for businesses to make payments in national currencies - rubles and yuan.
At the end of the event, the speakers answered questions from the participants.
