On January 27, the RAUIE held a meeting with the Ambassador of Singapore to the Russian Federation,
Prejit Sidasivan. The talks were devoted to the development of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Singapore.
The President of the RAUIE,
Vitaliy Mankevich, noted that among the Union members there are companies ready to promote their business in Singapore, there are requests for technology and equipment:
“The regions also want to develop joint projects with Singapore. In turn, we are ready to provide full support for delegations from Singapore, to assist in localizing on the Russian market and in obtaining measures of state support. If at the large business level we see a wide range of successfully implemented projects between Russia and Singapore, then at the medium business level there are not so many of them, and we are ready to provide the necessary assistance based on our platform. ”
The Ambassador of Singapore to Russia
Premjit Sadasivan noted that at the moment, business relations between Russia and Singapore are actively developing both in the field of bilateral trade and investment and also recommended the RAUIE as a reliable partner for the implementation of joint trade, economic and investment projects.
At the same time, unfortunately, there are contradictions between Russia and Singapore, but thanks to the work of the RAUIE progress can be made in strengthening cooperation:
“We can begin cooperation in several economy sectors and if this cooperation becomes successful, we can start new projects.”
The parties also discussed cooperation in the scientific and technical sphere, in the field of distribution and processing of mutual trade, economic and investment requests, in the field of migration support for Singapore citizens in Russia and visa support for Russian citizens in Singapore.
