Summary of the 2025 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum

One of the most significant events in the business world — the 2025 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum — has concluded. Over four days, approximately 24,000 participants from 144 countries took part in the forum activities. Deal-making worth millions of dollars took place on the venue, discussions focused on new economic trends, and as is traditional, the main event was the plenary session with the participation of President Vladimir Putin.

Key results and trends of this year:

• Strengthening international cooperation: participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts amid a changing geopolitical landscape.
• Innovation and digitalization: special attention was given to developing technologies, digital transformation of business, and sustainable development.
• Green economy: discussions centered on achieving environmental sustainability and investing in "green" projects.
• New markets and business opportunities: participants agreed to expand cooperation with Asian countries, primarily China.
