The Irkutsk Region Days were held in China

From June 13 to 18, the Irkutsk Region Days took place in China, organized by the Russian-Asian Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs (RAUIE). A delegation from the region visited Beijing and Shenyang. In both cities, presentations of the investment and economic potential of the region, sectoral round tables, networking with Chinese companies (with over 500 Chinese companies participating in total) as part of the business mission, as well as cultural, sports events and targeted business meetings were held. As a result, agreements were reached, including contracts totaling more than 50 billion rubles signed during the work in Beijing and 11 more cooperation agreements signed in Shenyang, among them a deal for the supply of 10,000 tons of grain from Liaoning Province.

The delegation from the Irkutsk Region was led by Governor Igor Ivanovich Kobzev. It included ministers of the region, government officials, entrepreneurs from Irkutsk, the Irkutsk Symphony Orchestra, and representatives of cultural, social, and sports institutions. The main part of the program took place at the Beijing Expo Exhibition Center and New World Hotel in Beijing, as well as Shangri-La Hotel in Shenyang.
