The RAUIE and CCB held the first online conference of the New Era, New Opportunities series

On June 29, together with China Construction Bank, the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs held the first online conference of the “New Era, New Opportunities” series dedicated to trade and economic relations between the Russian Federation and Peoples Republik of China - “Russian exports to China: grains and fertilizers.

The event was attended by agricultural companies from both countries. The conference's purpose was to present the possibilities of Russian business for export and to establish relations with Chinese partners interested in cooperation.

Chairman of the RAUIE Vitaly Mankevich delivered an introductory speech, in which he spoke about the main trends in the industry, the prospects to strive for, and the possibilities of the Union to build productive interaction between the businesses of the two countries.

The exports growth of agro-industrial complex products from Russia to China is proceeding at a faster pace, however, in some segments (for example, in the wheat trade), there is still a huge untapped potential. At the same time, strong trade relations in this area are the basis for the food security of our countries.

The invited Russian agricultural companies told their Chinese colleagues about their activities and positions that they could export.

After the presentations, representatives of the Chinese agro-industrial complex asked questions to the Russian participants, and the parties began online negotiations.
