The RAUIE at the Second International Forum of wild plant processors and superfood producers

On March 31 – April 1, the Second International Forum of Wild Plant Processors and Superfood Producers took place at the National Center "Russia".

The forum became a key industry event, exploring the theme of preserving health and active longevity 120+ through the systematic inclusion of foods with high biological value in the diet. The event was held during the year of "Unity of the Peoples of Russia", proclaimed by the President of Russia on December 25, 2025.

The organizer was Yuri Rudakov, President of the Union of Wild Plant Processors and member of the State Council Commission "International Cooperation and Export".

During the session "International Cooperation and Export" (moderated by Denis Kazannikov, Project Manager for Agricultural Export Support at JSC "Russian Export Centre"), Alena Mikhailovna Shvetsova spoke – Head of the RAUIE for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia, and the Republic of Tyva.

She noted: "Wild plants are very valuable! Every region has its own wild plants, its own superfood, which can be a unique tool for promoting the region and our vast country."

The forum also discussed:

• whether Russian superfood exists as a finished product;
• whether superfoods from Russia can compete on the global stage;
• whether processors and producers should focus on exports.

Outcome of the event:

A Cooperation Agreement was signed between the RAUIE and the SPD "National Ecoresource" to promote the brands and products of their members, as well as to facilitate the entry of new technological products into international markets.
