The RAUIE together with the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation held a round table on technical re-equipment of industrial enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the PRC. As part of this event, the investment potential of the Nizhny Novgorod was presented, and a plan for interaction between Nizhny Novgorod and Chinese companies in the field of equipment was discussed.

The PRC has the largest number of industrial enterprises in the world and is the world's main exporter of various industrial products. More than three-fifths of the country's working population is employed in modern, modernized heavy industry enterprises in China. Particularly developed industries include: mechanical engineering, metallurgical, energy and chemical industries
New technologies, new types of products, modernization of capacities - all this is an urgent agenda for the cooperation development between the business community of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the People's Republic of China, as well as for maintaining the competitiveness of products. "

Summing up the results of the event, the RAUIE and the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation signed an agreement on long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
