The RAUIE executives met with the CEO of FAW RUS

On January 19, a meeting took place between the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE) and the CEO of FAW RUS, Mr. Li Yuntszyun. They discussed the peculiarities of the Russian automotive market, FAW's performance in the past year, and identified potential areas of cooperation with the Association of Chinese Automakers in Russia.

Special attention was given to the certification of Chinese automobiles and the specifics of the technical regulations of the Customs Union. Both sides reached a common understanding that relying on regulations established by the European Union is outdated and requires stronger harmonization and standardization of safety standards between Russia and China in regards to wheeled vehicles.
