The RAUIE representatives visited a presentation of the investment potential of the Chinese province of Shaanxi

On April 26, Deputy Chairman of the RAUIE Alexey Zhilin and representatives of companies that are members of the RAUIE visited a presentation of the investment potential of the Chinese province of Shaanxi, which took place at The Carlton Moscow hotel.

The event featured the Ambassador of China to the Russian Federation, Zhang Hanhwei, Deputy Secretary General of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, Lan Jiangwen, and other speakers. They presented current projects of the international port of Xi'an-Changba, the Shanxi Coal Group, signed several agreements, and held negotiations on contracts for the import of food products, agricultural chemicals, and bulk cargo delivery.

Alexey Zhilin discussed with representatives of Shaanxi province’s business the joint development of promising projects, the current state and opportunities of logistics corridors, the construction of new and expansion of dry ports capabilities.

Participants raised questions about deepening strategic cooperation, prospective directions for increasing trade turnover between Russia and China, and noted significant successes of Russia and China within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative.
