From 10 to 14 September, the first BRICS Youth Camp was held in the Ulyanovsk region. More than 80 delegates, volunteers and experts from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa took part in the event. The Camp was timed to coincide with the BRICS summit, which took place on September 9 in an online format.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Ksenia Razuvaeva and Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexei Russkikh addressed the participants with a video greeting.
The vice-president of the RAUIE Mkrtchyan Syuzanna also became a participant of the event. She took part in the Camp opening ceremony, in a gala dinner, and also held a seminar for the participants on the topic “State programs to support SMEs in the BRICS countries involved in import and export”. As part of her speech, she spoke about the problems that foreign companies face when entering the Russian market, gave practical advice to each participant on how to set up work, and also talked about the RAUIE's support measures for SMEs: free placement of Russian goods in Chinese pavilions, free equipment search, internships for students, free project placement on the RAUIE investment platform and much more.
