Vitaly Mankevich attended a meeting of the RKDS

Today RAUIE Chairman Vitaly Mankevich visited the General Regular Annual Meeting of the members of the Russian-Chinese Business Council. During the meeting, a report on the activities of the organization in the previous year was presented and a discussion of current tasks took place.

President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin emphasized the importance of the previous visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia and expressed confidence that "we plan to hold new meetings in the near future, at which we will discuss the implementation of our goals."



Chinese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui said that trade between Russia and China has grown by 29% over the past year, trade operations are increasingly taking place in national currencies, and agricultural supplies are steadily increasing. He also assured that the embassy "will continue to provide comprehensive support to the members of the RKDS."
Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov noted the special connection between the two states, and also pointed to the unique contractual and legal basis of Russian-Chinese relations.

Executive Director of the RKDS Evgeny Markin said that in May 2023, a visit of Russian business circles to the capital of China is planned with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation.
