Vitaly Mankevich spoke at the seminar of the Chinese news agency Xinhua

On March 22, the RAUIE Chairman Vitaly Mankevich took part in a seminar by the Chinese Xinhua News Agency "The Code of Development on the Path to a Modernized Power - Characteristic Features of the Era and the Practical Value of Xi Jinping's Ideas on the Economy."

This theme is especially topical within the framework of the just completed visit of the President of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation. But the stunning economic successes and the incredible pace of not only quantitative but also qualitative development that China has been demonstrating to the whole world over the past decades is what makes the Chinese experience truly worthy of close attention and deep, comprehensive study, regardless of the current political and information agenda. 



The event was attended by General Director of the Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua, Director of the Russian International Affairs Council Ivan Nikolayevich Timofeev, First Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the TASS News Agency, China expert Marat Abulkhatin, Director of the Research Institute of the Xinhua News Agency Liu Gang, Deputy Head Xinhua News Agency Chinese News Service Zhang Xudong, President of the Xinhua Foundation IV Arkhipova Ivan Arkhipov and other distinguished speakers.

Mankevich devoted his speech to the peculiarities of the Chinese approach to modernization and practical examples of the implementation of Xi Jinping's economic thought. His Colleagues from China shared their experience of living through reforms and spoke in detail about the results of the economic activity of the Celestial Empire in recent decades.
