Vitaly Mankevich took part in a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation dedicated to the gas motor fuel market

On March 22, the RAUIE Chairman Vitaly Mankevich took part in the round table of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation “Assessment of the development potential of the gas motor fuel market for vehicles in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035”.



The meeting was moderated by Vasily Tolstopyatov, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Gas Motor Fuel under the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committee. The event was attended by Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dmitry Kurochkin, General Director of Avtotor Mashstroy LLC Alexander Klevlin, General Director of Gazprom Gas Engine Systems LLC Sergey Kolin, Igor Yurchenko, Project Manager of the Department of Transportation at Russian Post JSC, Denis Safonov, Head of Sales Department at Gazprom Gas Engine Fuel, Alexei Podshchekoldin, Vice President of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association, and other experts.

The roundtable participants discussed the current state and prospects of the gas motor fuel market in our country. Vitaly Mankevich spoke about the experience of the Chinese automobile industry and the possibilities of the recently created Association of Chinese Automobile Manufacturers in Russia to solve pressing problems in this area.

As a result of the event, proposals will be prepared on measures to support manufacturers of natural gas vehicles, which will be sent to the relevant ministries and departments.
