With the assistance of the RAUIE, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Vladimir Region Administration under the Government of Russia
Alexey Palchikov spoke at the IV International Exhibition of Scientific and Technical Achievements, which was held in Lanzhou, China. Palchikov, as the head of the Russian delegation, made a presentation on the prospects for cooperation between the Vladimir region and the Gansu province, and also met with the head of the economic department of the RAUIE in Guangdong
Anton Fedotov on the sidelines of the Exhibition.
Opening the meeting,
Anton Fedotov, Head of the Economic Department of the RAUIE Representative Office in Guangdong Province, noted that scientific and technical cooperation has always been one of the important areas of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership. The RAUIE is proud to have established partnerships with the scientific and technical bureau of Lanzhou and is glad for such positive and fruitful cooperation!
“The RAUIE considers the Vladimir region as a priority region for the localization of investment projects of Chinese businessmen in Russia. It was suggested that we create a free economic zone, including a logistics railway junction and service structure (storage space, exhibition area, customs and transport service, security, an Internet portal for small wholesale customers), ” Palchikov noted.
The latest initiatives of China really open up new directions for connecting the EAEU and the “One Belt, One Way” countries: it is proposed to cooperate more actively on international issues, to strengthen interregional cooperation, and to intensify partnership in the field of energy and innovative technologies. That is why the Silk Road Digital Belt opens up new horizons for Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of technology transfer, development of digital and logistics infrastructure, and foreign direct investment. Vladimir region is no exception in the creation of joint programs.
In addition, China has great interest in importing Russian agricultural products, and the Vladimir region has a favorable climate and soil for growing cereals, as well as for exporting dairy products from the region. The RAUIE cooperates with the Vladimir region in the implementation of these projects. Thanks to the Union, the regions can learn about the most relevant trends in Russian-Chinese economic relations, which allows us to be one step ahead among other regions.
The RAUIE has been acting as the international strategic partner of Lanzhou Science and Technology Bureau for the second year already. In 2019, the exhibition was attended by representatives and residents of leading universities and innovation and technical centers of Russia, such as: Skolkovo Science and Technology Park, Moscow State University, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
