Russian ice-cream is conquering China
Ice-cream delivery from Russia to China increased 200 per cent. According to Xinhua News Agency. Chinese businessmen decided to build ice cream warehouse of 1300 square meters. Nowadays there is an ever-growing demand for Russian ice cream among Chinese consumers. According to Russian-Chinese custom-house’s official figures, for the first half of 2016 year delivery of ice-cream at some of checkpoints increased 200 per cent in comparison with the same period of 2015. Tonnage measurement isn’t that flashy – through Suifenhe checkpoint was imported slightly more than 70 tons of Russian ice-cream – it is about $21K.
Ice-cream constantly deliver from Russia to China since December of last year. Its main rival advantages are high quality and considerably lower price in comparison with western ones. “Russian ice-cream is true delicacy,” – declared Mr Zheng Rui – official representative of the biggest ice-cream importer company in China “Ange Company”.
Such a rapid increase of interest from Chinese consumers to Russian ice-cream fills with enthusiasm Russian producers. “Their demand greatly exceeds our expectations” – said director of “Russian Food House” Alexander Borisov. For providing sufficient capacity of delivery it was built the largest in Heilongjiang logistics storehouse of 3000 square meters that services frozen food.
