On August 17th, Indonesia celebrated its Independence Day for the 79th time. On this occasion, a reception was held in Moscow on August 23rd.
The reception was attended by the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Russian Federation, Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Yuryevich Galuzin. The atmosphere at the reception was warm and friendly, and it was evident that many of the guests at the event were long-time friends and colleagues, confirming the presence of deep and strong ties between our countries.
The strong historical connections between Moscow and Jakarta, spanning decades, serve as an example of bilateral interaction in many areas, including trade and economic cooperation.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Alexey Anatolyevich Zhilin, visited the reception.
The RAUIE attaches great importance to the development and strengthening of business and friendly relations with Indonesia. During the event, various projects and future cooperation prospects between Russia and Indonesia were discussed with both officials and representatives of businesses and public organizations.
