The Academy of Macroeconomic Research is the only national government consulting research center specializing in macroeconomic theory and regulatory research in China. The Academy is instructed to provide recommendations to the Government on macroeconomic policy, expert support for decisions of the State Committee for Development and Reform of the People's Republic of China, and advisory support to society.
