On November 19, the RAUIE together with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office held an online conference "Business cooperation with Hong Kong: how to do business in 2020?" 200 people took part in the event on the platforms Zoom and Youtube. The speakers of the event were the RAUIE Vitaly Mankevich, ETO General Director Ms. Winky So, Natalia Shupeiko (Vector trade Ltd), Andy Chan (Deheng Law Firm), InvestHK consultant Leonid Orlov and Elena Chernykh (CITIC Telecom). The session was moderated by Maxim Kuznetsov, vice-president of the RAUIE.
Hong Kong is currently one of the largest international trade centers, the flagship of the Belt and Road Initiative, the third largest financial center in the world and a huge consumer market. During the conference, the participants discussed practical issues of cooperation with Hong Kong, the implementation of joint projects and development opportunities. Particular attention was paid to setting up a company in Hong Kong and its advantages, the possibility of investing and receiving tax benefits. In addition, the speakers told about the main activities and key industries, fundraising, as well as about business opportunities for a Russian enterprise in Hong Kong.
As part of the question-answer session, all participants received detailed information on the interesting aspects of entering Hong Kong market and advice on practical activities.
