On March 17 at 13:00 a webinar "The Chinese market: current state and prospects. Adaptation of the product to the requirements of the Chinese market: what to look for", was held, organized by the RAUIE and Bank St. Petersburg (BSP).
Speakers - vice president of the RAUIE Maxim Kuznetsov and general director of the Russian branch of the Russian goods electronic marketplace in China "Epindo" (the RAUIE member) Anastasia Tarasevich shared with the audience practical advice on exporting both food and non-food products.
Maxim Kuznetsov analyzed the top 10 mistakes made by exporters and shared strategies for entering the Chinese market with the webinar participants.
“On January 1 of this year, we opened our first pavilion of Russian goods in Guangzhou. It is the largest pavilion of Russian goods in South China with an area of 230 square meters in a large wholesale market. And in our work we had both expected and unexpected results. This included the sale of all the vodka (Beluga and Russian Standard), and there was also a great demand for Russian-made meat. Several visitors were interested in coal, oil, bitumen and timber, which also surprised us. In general, confectionery, pasta, agricultural products, sunflower oil are in demand, ”said Maxim Kuznetsov.
