Member of RAUIE Creative Industries Committee Georgy Zhukov becomes candidate for State Duma

The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has completed the registration of the federal list of the Green Party. Georgy Alexandrovich Zhukov, a member of the RAUIE Creative Industries Committee, has received his certificate as a candidate for deputy of the State Duma of the IX convocation.

Immediately after receiving the document, Georgy Zhukov outlined three key programmatic concepts that will form the basis of the party's legislative work:

1. Demography through economic stability

"Having a child should not be an economic stress. We want people to give birth in a calm environment, without insane mortgage conditions, with confidence in the future," said Zhukov.

The party intends to push for wage, pension, and benefit indexation at rates exceeding inflation.

2. Food security and honest labelling

The candidate drew attention to the problem of "quiet consumer deception": information about pesticides and harmful additives is often printed in tiny font.

"We intend to establish strict labelling standards so that consumers can see what they are buying without a magnifying glass," Zhukov emphasised.

The party plans to tighten control over pesticide content and increase producer liability.

3. Environmental monitoring using drones and AI

It is proposed to create a new‑generation automated environmental monitoring system: drones connected to AI, as well as underwater sampling of water and silt from reservoirs.

"We want to make monitoring continuous and technologically advanced," Zhukov explained.

The party views all three areas — family support, product quality, and environmental monitoring — as a unified doctrine of human security: at home, in the store, and in the environment.

Elections to the State Duma of the IX convocation will be held in September 2026.
