RAUIE strengthens bridges between Russia and China: delegation from Shenzhen visits VOLIN Technical Center

On August 14, at the initiative of RAUIE and the Association of Chinese Automobile Manufacturers in Russia, a working meeting was held with a Chinese delegation from Shenzhen at the VOLIN Technical Center. The request from the Chinese colleagues was specific — they wanted to see firsthand how Russian service stations operate, are equipped, and utilized.

The site chosen for the tour was a RAUIE partner facility — the VOLIN Technical Center (over 12,000 m²), headed by Olga Selezneva, Chairperson of the RASTO Association. The guests inspected 34 mechanical and assembly bays, 18 paint and body shop bays, a detailing center, a car wash, a tire fitting area, as well as a MAHA diagnostic line, Hunter Road Force® Elite balancing stands, and a spare parts warehouse with over 50,000 items. Of particular interest was the training center, which holds a license for professional education.

The delegation comprised 16 representatives from Chinese manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, tools, and educational solutions for auto service centers. Key areas included diagnostic and tire fitting equipment, lifts, automation, and driving school simulators. The companies are aiming for long‑term partnerships with Russia.

Mr. Huang Yangdong, President of Shenzhen Besita Technology Co., Ltd., highly praised the scale and equipment of the center and presented a report on technologies ready to enter the Russian market. On the Russian side, colleagues from the VOLIN Technical Center and the FIT SERVICE network spoke about market needs, trends, and promising niches. Pavel Lunin, CEO of the Index agency, backed up the discussion with analytics: how many service stations there are in the country, how often cars visit them, and what the main problems of the service market are.

The outcome of the meeting — the parties agreed to exchange specific requests and opportunities. Next steps include developing joint projects.
