RAUIE leadership and Union members took part in the 11th conference "Digital Transformation of Russian Industry" (CIPR‑2026), which discussed key issues in the development of Russian IT exports: the creation of a Russian‑Indian IT cluster, identifying growth points, and overcoming competition in the global market.

At the end of 2025, the volume of IT exports from Russia amounted to 164 billion rubles — a 15% year‑on‑year increase. Experts call this a turning point: after two years of decline, sustained growth has been recorded. The key factor is proven experience in technological sovereignty.
Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation:
"The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade supports IT companies through its representative offices in 35 countries. Mechanisms are being developed to support projects, and regulations are being drafted for OEM manufacturers to enter foreign markets. Import‑substitution oriented projects have become very much in demand since 2022."

RAUIE's position on ASEAN
Lubarto Sartoyo (Deputy Chairman of RAUIE, Head of Cooperation with ASEAN Countries):
"Russian companies need to study the markets of ASEAN states and promote their products there, starting with small pilot projects."
Lavlish Taneja (Deputy Chairman of RAUIE, Head of Cooperation with India) announced:
"Indian business is considering creating joint ventures with Russia. One option is the formation of an IT cluster in the Nizhny Novgorod region."
Potential areas of cooperation:
- artificial intelligence technology development
- cybersecurity
- space technologies
